I love sunsets. Also, I love how the rays of sun paint the sky at any time of the day. I am always greedy in stealing these shots.
After I went through security check at Budapest airport, the brightness of the evening sun through big glass windows caught my attention. I went straight to the windows and clicked away. At that moment, how I wished that the glass window will disappear and I get a clear view of it. Many, many years ago, when I was a child, I remembered being at Subang International Airport (at that time Subang was the main airport in Malaysia, before KLIA) with my parents. In those days, we can still watch the airplanes from big open-air balconies. I watched the sun until it disappeared down the horizon.
It was a winter in China. The sun was not very prominent, trying to hide behind the leafless trees. It gave a nice pink colour to the sky, welcoming the night.
Coconut trees. In Malaysia, if you see many of these there is a good chance that you are near the sea.
Clouds are a good example of abstract art. This was taken one evening in an office compound in Bonn.
We chose Lyngseidet to see Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights. For 5 days we were in there, we saw it for 10 minutes. Though it was a very short time, it was magical (my point-and-shoot camera unable to capture it, so no photos available). Instead, I present this sunset and fjords to you, to show how beautiful Lyngseidet is.
Don't be fooled by the bright sun, it was a very cold day in Prague. I like the rays shining on the river, while the boat passing through.
Taking clear photos from inside a moving bus can be tricky. I like how the sun hid behind the clouds while the light still went through the transparent material. Silhouette of the clouds made a good contrast against the mechanical structure.
